2010 Draft Rating List

 

The 2010 Draft Rating List with summary valuations is now available on EGi for England and Wales. This rating information can be used by EGi subscribers for valuation purposes and to generate appeals work.

 

What rating information is available on EGi?

 

The VOA carries out a revaluation of all rateable values in England and Wales every five years. The next official comes into force on 1 April 2010. In advance of this, a draft list of rateable values for all commercial properties in England and Wales, provided by the VOA, is now available on EGi. This draft list has been published in advance to allow 6 months for valuations to be checked by the occupiers before it comes into effect.

You can use the EGi rating tool to:

• Search for rateable values by location, property use type, range of values and effective dates.
• Compare the changes to a property's rateable value between 1990 and 2010.
• View valuation office details, property description and a breakdown summary in one report.
• Download reports to Excel for easy comparison of assessments.
