Lisa Pilkington 30/07/2010 11:45

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed by global tools giant Stanley Black & Decker to advise on its 7m sq ft European, Middle Eastern and African property portfolio.

The appointment follows the $4.5bn (£2.7bn) takeover of Black & Decker by US tools and door company Stanley Works, which completed in March.

JLL will provide valuation, rent review and transaction management advice for the firm.

The agent is also understood to be tasked with helping the firm rationalise its UK property holdings.
