EGi has been named Property Portal of the Year at the LSL Property Press awards.
Annabel Dixon, EG‘s retail and residential correspondent, won the award for Property Journalism’s Rising Star, while deputy regional editor Nadia Elghamry won a bronze award in the regional property writer category.
The awards were judged by a 45-strong panel of property industry experts.
Estates Gazette editor Damian Wild said: “I’m delighted that EGi has been named Property Portal of the Year. The award comes after major redevelopment of the site over the past 12 months, including a new interface, links between news and data and a seven-days-a-week news service. It’s a welcome recognition of all the hard work and progress that we’ve made.”
He added that Annabel’s award was richly deserved. “Annabel’s coverage of retail has been second to none and now adding residential to her patch means she’ll bring the same flair to this crucial market.”
