Last update 9 December 2009:

  • The 2010 Draft Rating List with summary valuations is now available on EGi for England and Wales

The VOA carries out a revaluation of all rateable values in England and Wales every five years. The next official list comes into force on 1 April 2010. In advance of this, a draft list of rateable values for all commercial properties in England and Wales, provided by the VOA, is now available on EGi. This draft list has been published in advance to allow 6 months for valuations to be checked by the occupiers before it comes into effect. You can use the EGi ratings tool to:

    • Search for rateable values by location, property use type, range of values and effective dates.
    • Compare the changes to a property's rateable value between 1990 and 2010.
    • View valuation office details, property description and a breakdown summary in one report.
    • Download reports to Excel for easy comparison of assessments.

  • Exciting news for EGi London Offices subscribers as we release Excel download functionality for our Occupier data. Our regular users have wanted this functionality for some time and we are delighted it has now gone live.

The ability to download will ensure maximum benefit from our unrivalled dataset. Our team of researchers are continuously calling the c.14,000 occupiers in our database to check and validate their details - including lease details/expiries, plans to move etc. Our dataset is unique in the market.

So, if you want a snapshot of take-up, a list of US lawyers in EC4 or lease expiries coming up in the next 2 years - this report will give you what you want. You can analyse and aggregate the information as you need.

But please - don't stop calling us for other bespoke data - we still want to hear from you!
