Haringey Council wins lawsuit over Tottenham Hotspur street improvements

Haringey Council has defeated a legal claim brought by a contractor over plans to improve the road to Tottenham Hotspur’s recently-opened football stadium. The council is planning to improve the route between Tottenham Hale tube station and the stadium. It wants to build a new footway, mini park, play equipment, scooter track and outdoor gym on the route — all to be finished before the football season starts up again in late August.
