Apple takes bite of 22 Bishopsgate

Apple will take 100,000 sq ft at 22 Bishopsgate while it waits for its UK HQ at Battersea Power Station to be completed. Lipton Rogers and Real Assets have now secured 580,000 sq ft pre-lets for the 1.4m sq ft, 62-storey skyscraper. It is believed that the £1bn tower, which will be the tallest in the City when completed, will be the home for Apple Pay. Apple is understood to still be intending to move 1,400 staff to its new 500,000 sq ft, six-storey ‘campus’ in Battersea in 2021. The Times (£)
