A leading architect has been ordered to demolish his award-winning home and offices after planning officials decided that the building did not match the plans that were submitted.
Amin Taha, who was born in Berlin but studied in Edinburgh and has lived and worked in London for many years, said that the decision had left him “facing the prospect of heading to the streets.”
The six-storey property at 15 Clerkenwell Close in central London, which was completed in 2016, won a Riba award for its innovative design.
