Taylor Wimpey has lodged plans for nearly 300 homes in London’s Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area.
The house builder has submitted plans for 290 homes – including 44 affordable – at Battersea Park East, SW8.
It also proposes 39,600 sq ft of shops, offices and community space and a replacement two-form primary school and nursery within buildings ranging from one to 18 storeys.
The 4.5-acre development site is owned by Network Rail and the Archdiocese of Southwark.
