Big firms will slash staff and shed space

The bosses of the UK’s biggest companies are more worried about weak demand than at any point in the last five years. Deloitte’s quarterly survey of chief financial officers showed that 65% thought that their business faced high or very high levels of external financial and economic uncertainty as Brexit continues to batter business.
