Bloor Homes has received planning permission from Halton Borough Council to develop 185 homes in Widnes.
The site is a triangular farmland pasture spanning 18-acres.
The homes will be a mix of one- to-four-bedroom properties, of which 20% will be affordable.
The approved scheme will also provide 3.7 acres of natural and semi-natural open space and a play area.
