Bruntwood SciTech signs four occupiers at Birmingham innovation hub

Bruntwood SciTech has secured a quartet of tenants for the Cornerblock building in central Birmingham. 

The 112,346 sq ft facility in the heart of the Colmore Business District is part of Bruntwood SciTech’s innovation hub.

Renewable energy supplier Bryt Energy will relocate its UK headquarters to 12,500 sq ft on the second floor. According to EG Radius data, it has agreed a 10-year lease at £34.50 per sq ft.

Consultant ToHealth has signed for a 1,462 sq ft fifth-floor suite on a three-year lease at £34.5 per sq ft, while International Resources Group and accountancy firm PKF Smith Cooper have both signed five-year leases at £36 per sq ft for 4,200 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft, respectively.

They will join existing tenants digital transformation firm Kainos, specialist cyber insurer Beazley and global risk solutions provider Sedgwick.

The flurry of deals leaves 11,000 sq ft available in the building.
