Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Mark Hingston to managing director for asset services in its EMEA business.
Hingston has been chief operating officer of asset services EMEA since 2019 and is credited with playing an “instrumental” role in its growth story during that time. He is also an international partner in the business.
He joined C&W’s asset services EMEA business seven and a half years ago from Capita, where he held a number of leadership and operational roles.
He takes over leadership of the team from Tina Reuter, who has been appointed as C&W’s head of Germany.
Colin Wilson, chief executive EMEA, C&W, said: “Mark’s experience, strategic thinking and vision – as well as his deep understanding of our business and clients – mean he is ideally suited to take over the leadership of the team.
“As an existing senior leader within the team, his appointment also ensures a seamless transition for both colleagues and clients”
Hingston said: “As the needs of real estate owners and investors have evolved in recent years, our clients have responded enthusiastically to the level of sophistication we have brought to our services, and the experience we can deliver for their tenants and other users of their assets.
“We have begun the year strongly, with client appetite for the full breadth of our services, continuing our momentum from 2023.”
The agent’s asset services offer manages some 334m sq ft of properties across the EMEA region on behalf of real estate investors and owners.
Services range from traditional property management to operational asset management.
