Data firm strikes WeWork tie-up

Flexible workspace group WeWork has struck a strategic partnership with a data firm that helps companies dig into talent trends and weigh up the best office locations.

WeWork said the partnership with Vertis would help its tenants as they face “some of the most challenging workplace-related roadblocks”, including tracking talent pools in particular markets and analysing how commute times for employees affect productivity as they introduce hybrid working practices.

Vertis’s platform uses billions of data points to help companies analyse various metrics around talent and location in their existing markets or new geographies.

Peter Greenspan, WeWork’s global head of real estate, said the company’s larger, corporate members are using increasingly varied workplace strategies.

“This partnership will support members with actual data to help make expedited decisions when it comes to real estate,” he added. “Having visibility into where labour pool growth is happening or understanding commute times for employees allows business leaders to strategically plan for the evolving future of work.”
