Dominvs to sell 600-flat Wembley project

Dominvs has put a large mixed-use or residential-led development project in Wembley up for sale.

Euro House is being marketed by JLL and CBRE.

No formal guide price has been set but it is expected to receive offers in excess of £40m.

The vacant freehold 3.6-acre site is an allocated site in the Wembley Area Action Plan to drive economic regeneration.

The self-contained warehouse currently totals 59,000 sq ft with car parking and yard space. It is located at the intersection of Fulton Road and Fifth Way and it is a seven-minute walk from Wembley Park Underground station.

The site has the potential for a residential-led, mixed-use redevelopment and could hold an estimated 600 units, subject to planning.

It has been through two pre-application meetings to date, seeking approval for a mixed-use scheme, with housing, student accommodation and a hotel totalling 598,204 sq ft.

The site is adjacent to Quintain’s 85-acre mixed-use development, where 7,000 homes will be built.

Dominvs Group director Husnell Ahluwalia said: “We made the decision to sell the Wembley site to focus on our hospitality and residential property portfolios.

“We are currently developing 200 residential units and over 2,000 hotel rooms in London and the regions.”

The investment company acquired the site in 2012. It currently has 22 projects at various stages of development, including the conversion of the former Tower Bridge Magistrates Court into a 193-bedroom luxury hotel, and other sites in central London, Bath, Oxford, York, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
