DS2 has recruited Alix Green to head its build-to-rent advisory and transactional services and expand its affordable housing offer.
Green will join the development consultancy as a partner from 1 June.
She has been a director at JLL for 10 years, with roles in residential advisory and capital markets. Most recently she was national director in the residential capital markets team for almost three years.
Prior to this, she worked with DS2 in a former position at Drivers Jonas. She is also a board member at Cottsway Housing Association.
DS2 has advised a range of investors and developers in securing land, assessing viability and forward funding opportunities and disposals in BTR, residential and affordable housing. It has advised on projects including Aberdeen Standard’s BTR scheme in Bath, Quintain in Wembley and Capital & Regional’s first BTR scheme at the Mall in Walthamstow.
Green said: “The UK’s BTR sector has grown exponentially in the last few years and has proven its resilience during the pandemic. I see this as a major opportunity for DS2 to expand its expertise and position the company at the forefront of this exciting sector.”
