Ennismore has teamed up with French hotel giant Accor to take its Hoxton hotel brand global.
The firm, which also owns Gleneagles in Scotland, currently has 10 Hoxton hotels but believes it can grow the chain to three times its size.
The deal, which does not include the hotel property assets, will see the management of Ennismore’s hotels join Accor brands including 25hours, SLS, Mama Shelter, Mondrian, Delano and Hudson.
The joint venture, which comes after almost a year of negotiations, will use the Ennismore name and be based in London. It will be two-thirds owned by Accor and a third owned by Sharan Pasricha, the British group’s founder. He becomes co-chief executive.
