Final phase of Dublin Waterfront plan submitted

Ronan Group Real Estate has submitted plans for the next phase of development at its 4.75-acre Waterfront Sount Central site in Dublin.

The plot is the last undeveloped city block in Dublin’s Docklands and will be transformed to deliver some 1.5m sq ft of grade-A office and residential space, including 550 flats and a 25-storey residential tower that will front on to the River Liffey.

This space aims to finish off Ronan Group’s Waterfront site, where it is already on site building Citi’s new headquarters, a nine-storey, circa 300,000 sq ft block.

The homes delivered will be Ronan Group’s residential operations platform, Libra Living.

The commercial element of the plans comprises two grade-A office blocks, totalling 373,000 sq ft.

Ronan Group bought the Waterfront site from Nama in 2018 for around £160m.

Development of the commercial element of Waterfront South Central is scheduled for completion in 2027.
