Developer Quadrant has received planning consent from Ashford Borough Council for 375 homes and 380,000 sq ft of grade-A commercial space on land surrounding its Eureka Business Park scheme in Ashford, Kent.
The 128-acre site is located to the north of the M20.
The commercial space will target occupiers from the corporate, life sciences and R&D sectors. Of the 375 homes, 30% will be affordable.
Quadrant has worked on nearby Eureka Park in partnership with Trinity College Cambridge since 2002, overseeing the development of more than 150,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Major tenants on the park include Brakes, Coty Rimmel, Smiths Medical and the NHS.
Quadrant founding partner Tristram Gethin said: “Securing consent for so many new homes is highly positive for the local area, which like many parts of the South East is suffering from an acute undersupply of high-quality energy-efficient housing.”
