Great Portland Estates is close to agreeing a deal to take full control of City Tower at 40 Basinghall Street, EC2.
The listed landlord is in talks to buy the 50% interest in the building owned by joint venture partner Starwood Capital. The tower is valued at around £95m.
The move comes after the joint venture partners appointed GM Real Estate last year to find a buyer for the building.
