Eco-friendly offices command a 20% green premium, according to research by JLL.
The firm said commercial buildings with better sustainability credentials were achieving “markedly higher” capital values and rents.
It examined hundreds of transactions over the past five years and found that offices with better sustainability credentials were valued at a 20.6% premium.
