Grosvenor nabs L&G regeneration lead

Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has appointed Rachel Dickie to its executive board.

Dickie joins from Legal & General Capital where she was head of urban regeneration for almost five years, and had most recently been seconded to L&G’s jv with Oxford University to become its interim chief executive. Prior to L&G, Dickie was a senior director at Tishman Speyer and a senior analyst at CBRE Global Investors.

At Grosvenor, she will take up the role of executive director, investment, and will be focused on building diversification within the business by both geography and sector.

As part of the investment team Dickie will help manage Grosvenor’s completed operational assets, identify and manage new investment opportunities and grow its strategic land portfolio.

She takes up the role in November and will be the sixth woman to join Grosvenor’s eight-strong executive committee.

At L&G, former Argent managing partner Anna Strongman has been brought in to take over the role of chief executive of the Oxford University Development jv.
