GVA Grimley doubles Liverpool office space

GVA Grimley has more than doubled the size of its office space in Liverpool as it seeks to cement its position following the opening of an office in the city last year.

The firm, which has 14 staff in Liverpool, has relocated to a 3,000 sq ft space on the ground floor of Mercury Court on Tithebarn Street.

Its previous premises were 1,200 sq ft at St Nicholas House on Chapel Street.

The expansion comes following a recruitment campaign which included the appointment of Roy Backhouse as partner earlier this year.

David Sayer, head of GVA’s Liverpool office, said: “We are thrilled to have outgrown our original office so quickly as it illustrates how significantly the team has expanded in just one year.

“We fully intend to continue to develop the business strategically over the next three years by responding to the demands of national and international businesses who are continually moving to the city, as well as maintaining GVA Grimley’s position as a leading name within the North West.”

The new office is close to the 1.5m sq ft Pall Mall scheme, which is being billed as Liverpool’s new central business district.

GVA advises Pall Mall developer English Cities Fund.
