Help us understand mental health in real estate

Brains are mysterious things.

They are responsible for every single element of our existence, from orchestrating vital processes (such as breathing) to helping us stay alive, to designing beautiful cities, to making boardroom decisions.

Yet while they produce tangible effects, they remain a mystery to us. We can’t see them in action, each one is unique, and it is sometimes hard to articulate how they work.

It is because of their mysterious nature that makes it hard for us to talk about them when they might not be working like they should be.

That’s why EG is investigating the state of mental health in the real estate industry.

In an industry where the subject still remains a taboo and research into the issue is limited, EG is aiming to close the industry’s knowledge gap and provide information on how businesses can offer support for those who may be struggling to cope.

That’s why we need you.

EG has launched its first ever mental health survey to gather insight into the mental health of property’s workforce.

It is open to everyone in the real estate sector, regardless of whether you have experienced a mental health issue or not.

The survey, which Mind advised on for EG, will preserve the identities of those who choose to fill it out and all responses are completely anonymous (unless you choose to share your details).

The results will be analysed in EG’s special edition of the magazine dedicated to mental health awareness on 30 November.

To do this, we need your help. Help us understand the scale of the issue by filling out our seven-minute survey.
