Riverside, the 385,000 sq ft mixed-use extension to Hemel Hempstead town centre, is now more than 85% prelet.
The four new operators signing up to the scheme this week are :
- Fashion retailer Monsoon, which has taken 6,500 sq ft over ground and first floors on a 15-year lease at £175,000 pa.
- Mobile phone retailer The Link, which has taken a 657 sq ft store on a 15-year lease at £65,000 pa.
- Discount designer label chain TK Maxx , which has taken a further 4,800 sq ft in the scheme, extending its shop to a total of 34,800 sq ft on a 15-year lease at a total rent of £267,500 pa.
- Oriental restaurant Aroma has taken a 9,103 sq ft shop on a 25-year lease at a rent of £100,000 pa.
The scheme, developed by Crest Nicholson and funded by Arlington Securities, is scheduled to open this autumn.
Ian White, director of Crest Nicholson Developments, said: “With the anchor store, key operators already in place, and the scheme more than 85% let, these latest deals further strengthen our plans to increase our range of retailers and leisure operators at Riverside, as well as attract well known names to the town.”
