Hub director returns to lead small site venture

Build-to-rent developer Hub has launched a new business targeting value-add opportunities on small sites.

Hub Capital will focus on overlooked sites with short to medium-term residential redevelopment opportunities of between 25 and 100 homes.

The initiative will be led by former employee Miles Keeley, who returns as principal of Hub Capital.

Keeley was previously acquisitions manager for parent company Squarestone, and spent the last two years at BlackRock as investment associate in the real estate division.

He said: “Drawing on the skills and experience of Hub’s market-leading development team working across the UK, the new strategy will create value-add opportunities for our investors.”

Hub currently has a pipeline of 5,000 homes valued at £1.35bn, following expansion to the regions, with recent schemes in Leeds and Birmingham.

Keeley added: “It’s a privilege to be able to help them continue their expansion plans and grow the business offering even further.”
