InfinitSpace enters Germany with latest flex deal

Flexible office operator InfinitSpace has struck a deal with European investment group J&T to open its first German location.

The deal will see InfinitSpace take a management agreement for some 48,000 sq ft at the new Quartier Heidestrasse development in Berlin, with an opening set for November.

The space, branded as Beyond Quartier Heidestrasse, will include 700 workstations in the scheme’s six-storey Straight building, which includes offices and flats.

The Quartier Heidestrasse development is a mixed-use complex in the Europacity project area.

InfinitSpace chief executive and co-founder Wybo Wijnbergen said: “Quartier Heidestrasse in Europacity is everything an urban centre should be – innovative, attractive and built for facilitating human connection. So a Beyond location is the perfect fit for the development.

“Moving into another of Europe’s most dynamic and successful business hubs is a hugely exciting step for InfinitSpace and the Beyond brand as we establish ourselves in the German flex-space market.”

Wijnbergen set up InfinitSpace with his brother Wilco in 2020. He was previously head of northern Europe at WeWork. The operator has sites in London, Amsterdam and the Middle East.
