FINANCE: Irish Residential Properties REIT (IRES) has hired a senior Nama property advisor as vice-president of acquisitions.
Charles Coyle joins IRES after three and a half years with the Irish bad bank.
Prior to joining Nama, Coyle worked for CBRE and Goodbody Stockbrokers.
He replaces Donal Kellegher, also an ex-Nama staffer, who has left IRES after just five months to join another firm.
Canadian-backed IRES was recently picked as preferred bidder on Nama’s Project Orange, with an offer of €211.3m (£168m) on the 761-strong portfolio of Dublin residential properties. The transaction is expected to complete in October.
