KPMG confirms move to prime Glasgow offices

KPMG has confirmed plans to relocate its Glasgow operation to Prudential Portfolio Managers’ 191 West George Street in the ciy’s prime central business district, as tipped by Estates Gazette (4 October 2003).

The accountant has taken 27,500 sq ft (2,555 sq m) on the second and third floors, with an option to take a further 24,000 sq ft (2,230 sq m) on the fourth and fifth floors at a later date.

KPMG has signed a 10-year lease at a rent of £21.50 per sq ft (£231 per sq m) and will move from its offices at 22-25 Blythswood Square.

King Sturge advised KPMG, while DTZ Debenham Tie Leung and Montagu Evans acted for Prudential Portfolio Managers.
