LandAid sends call-out for SleepOut to help fight homelessness

LandAid is calling on the property industry to take part in SleepOut, its annual fundraiser which supports young people facing homelessness.

The charity is challenging those working in the sector to brave the elements and sleep out in one of seven UK cities – Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, London or Manchester – to help raise money to fight homelessness and gain an understanding of the plight that thousands of young people face every single night.

Last year, almost 1,300 property professionals from 108 companies took part in LandAid’s SleepOut, raising more than £600,000 to help homeless people across the UK. Each region will contribute financially to a local project within its community. Knight Frank is headline sponsor, with Prologis, TFT, Birketts, HBD, Carter Jonas and Hill Dickinson as regional sponsors.

The SleepOut takes place on 7 March. Sign up before 17 January for an early-bird discount. The first 100 entries will be entered into a special prize draw.
