Liverpool Land Development Company (LLDC) has appointed Rob Monaghan as development manager.
Monaghan joins LLDC on secondment from the Northwest Regional Development Agency and will help deliver LLDC’s four strategic regeneration proposals in the city.
He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Liverpool Land Development Company at this important time for the organisation as many key regeneration projects get under way.”
David Waugh, chief executive of LLDC, added: “Rob has an impressive track record in the regeneration and commercial property sectors and will make a significant contribution to the work of the organisation.”
Prior to joining the NWDA, Monaghan was part of English Partnerships’ development team in Liverpool.
LLDC is responsible for implementing major physical regeneration projects in four Strategic Investment Areas (SIAs) around Liverpool city centre.
The SIAs – identified as main gateways into the city – have been highlighted as Liverpool’s key areas for business growth and benefit from European Objective 1 funding.
They are: Approach 580 (Aintree, Gillmoss and Kirkby); Eastern Approaches (the Edge Lane corridor); Atlantic Gateway (north Liverpool docklands); and Speke Halewood.
