Lloyds’ PRS business recruits trio of directors

Lloyds Banking Group’s private rental business Citra Living has appointed three commercial directors to drive new growth.

The company has hired Rebecca Lewis, Chris Duggan and Matthew Burgess.

Lewis (pictured above) worked at Morgan Sindall Group for more than three years, as an investment manager and later as a senior development manager, specialising in build-to-rent. She had previous roles with PfP Capital and is a non-executive director at B3 Living.

Duggan (also pictured above) worked as a director for D4 Developments for almost a decade and was previously an investment manager for Essential Living. Prior to this he was an associate in Knight Frank’s residential capital markets team.

Burgess was previously director for residential capital markets at JLL and also has five years’ experience at HSBC.

Lloyds launched Citra Living last month, with Andy Hutchinson as managing director. Citra has a debut scheme in Peterborough and is establishing partnerships with housebuilders to grow this. The venture aims to deliver 400 PRS homes this year, and 800 in 2022.

Hutchinson said: “These key additions to the management team each come with over 10 years’ experience in commercial property and the broader real estate sector. They will be a huge boost to the business, and will be key in driving forward the vision and growth of Citra Living.”
