London Square circles Putney

London Square Putney scheme 570p

London Square, founded by former Barratt London regional chairman Adam Lawrence, has been given the go ahead for the second phase of its £80m mixed-use scheme in Putney, SW15.

The developer has consent for 37 flats at the Allford Hall Monaghan Morris-designed scheme at Upper Richmond Road.

The overall project comprises more than 47,000 sq ft of shops and offices, a plaza and 113 flats.

Both phases are expected to complete in 2016.

London Square purchased the second phase, a 0.5-acre former office block at 111 Upper Richmond Road, from Carlton Plaza earlier this month. It bought the first phase at 113 Upper Richmond Road, where construction started last May, from Briargrove and Investec Bank in June 2011.

Quod advised on planning.
