Plans for a 160,000 sq ft speculative shed on the site of a former Weetabix factory have been given the green light.
Copley Point Capital, on behalf of its Block Industrial programme and Pembury Real Estate, submitted the application for the eight-acre site at Earlstrees Industrial Estate in Corby, Northamptonshire earlier this year.
The demolition of the existing building is close to being completed and the construction of the new unit will start shortly.
Copley Point Capital director Nimit Oberoi, said: “We are very pleased to have obtained planning permission for ‘Earlstree160’ just seven months after our acquisition. This is a testament to the hard work of our team and the positive and pragmatic attitude of North Northamptonshire Council.”
