Capital & Counties saw its share price fall 3.58% following news of a £275m bonds issue to reduce borrowings.
The bonds due in 2026 will be exchangeable for shares in Shaftesbury or a cash alternative. Capco dropped to 140p and Shaftesbury also fell down 3.88% to 545p.
Elsewhere, LondonMetric saw a very small increase, up 0.17% at 235.6p, despite solid HY results, driven by its focus on logistics and grocery sectors.
Build-to-rent landlord Grainger rose 2.05% to 308p following ongoing growth and rental income as annual results revealed investments now topping £3bn.
British Land’s share price decline continued, down 3.71% to 480.1p, following drops yesterday amid a valuation drop driving pretax losses.
The FTSE 100 fell 0.8% to 6,334 and the FTSE 250 was down 0.98% to 19,507.
