Graeme McCallum, managing director of Alfred McAlpine Homes and Eric Grove, a non-executive director of the construction group, along with Derek Green, a stockbroker working as a self-employed consultant for brokers Gerrard Vivian Gray, in High Hollborn, London, have been arrested after police and tax investigators raided offices in London and the Midlands. All three are being questioned in connection with allegations of conspiracy to commit false acccounting. The company said it had been assured the the arrests were not connected with the company itself but to the personal affairs of those arrested.
