MEPC director Iain Watters has been appointed a non-executive director of Leslie Jones Architects, the practice headed by Andrew Ogg.
Leslie Jones, whose projects include the Chimes shopping centre in Uxbridge and the extension of Capital Shopping Centres’ Lakeside has appointed Watters to develop its business strategy.
Watters said: “I don’t presume to be an architect.
“My role will be to boost the development consultancy side of the business and broaden the firm’s core activities.”
Managing director Ogg is due to take over the British Council of Shopping Centres’ presidency in 2004.
He follows Watters, who was president from 1999-2000.
