Mobility transport provider takes space at 22 Bishopsgate

Motability Operations has taken space in AXA IM Alt’s 22 Bishopsgate, EC2.

The company, which runs the Motability Scheme that leases accessible vehicles, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and other forms of transport to people with disabilities, will occupy 25,563 sq ft of office space in the tallest tower in the City of London. It will take floor six of the 1.27m sq ft skyscraper on a 10-year lease.

The company’s most recent annual results, for the year ended 30 September 2022, showed a profit of £893m. This was a marked increase compared with the figures for the year ended 30 September 2021, when the company’s profit was £527m, which was in turn up from £102m in 2020.

It will join companies including tech giant Apple, which leases 78,221 sq ft across floors 33 to 35, meeting, events and workspace provider Convene, which operates 50,000 sq ft across the third and fourth floors, and US insurer Westfield Insurance, which occupies 26,168 sq ft on level 36.
