Manchester has suffered its 15th or16th earthquake in 24 hours.
Buildings shook in the city during the latest three-second quake. It registered 3.2 on the Richter scale and bought down chimneys and smashed windows.
High winds and torrential rain forced schools, roads and hospitals to close in the North.
