Nelson Bakewell’s former head of West End agency to join Savills

Nelson Bakewell’s former head of West End agency, Tracy Collins, signed up to join Savills last night.

Collins will start at Savills’ Grosvenor Hill office, W1, next week as head of West End agency after 19 years at Nelson Bakewell.

He was head of the firm’s West End team for 17 years, until he was made redundant two weeks ago in the aftermath of NB’s failed merger with CBRE.

Savills has been searching for a new head of West End agency since Adam Hetherington left the role in December to join CBRE.

Collins’ former clients include GE, BSkyB, Henderson, Great Portland Estates, AXA and Prudential.

Jeremy Helsby, chairman and chief executive of Savills commercial, said: “We are delighted to have secured Tracy as our new head of West End agency.

“Tracy has a high-profile reputation in the West End market and brings to us a wealth of experience and new opportunities.

“He is joining a strong team and his presence will further enhance Savills’ position as a major player in the West End market.”

Collins added: “I have admired Savills for a long time and I am very excited to be joining the team. I am looking forward to working with the existing team to enhance and develop its strong West End agency offer.”
