Savills’ Ian Malden is to take over as head of UK valuations at the agent.
He will replace William Newsom who will remain at the firm as a senior director and will continue to promote Savills’ annual Financing Property presentations.
Mark Ridley, chairman of Savills Commercial, said: “The impact that William has had on the business in his role as head of division has been enormous and I am delighted that he will remain an integral part of Savills going forward, supporting the new leadership within his division.
Malden has worked in Savills’ valuation team for 21 years.
