Number of BAME board members is falling
The number of directors from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds is falling. A study of FTSE100 companies by Green Park Group showed that only ten chairman, chiefs or finance chiefs have BAME backgrounds, while 47% of boards have no BAME members at all. The percentage of directors and executive committee members from BAME backgrounds has fallen to 7.4% from 8.8% in 2018. The Times (£) The Guardian
