Taylor Wimpey and London & Quadrant have unveiled plans for the first new homes to be built in the Olympic Park.
As the first anniversary of the London Olympics approaches, the pair lodged an application for an 870-home scheme to the London Legacy Development Corporation.
The joint venture was selected last August to develop the Chobham Manor neighbourhood on the site of the former Basketball Arena.
The first homes are expected to go on sale in early 2015. A total of 6,800 homes will be built in the Olympic Park across five neighbourhoods.
