EXCLUSIVE: Amanicio Ortega, founder of Spanish fashion group Inditex, has bought an office asset in Barcelona’s central business district for around €60m.
The building, located at the city’s central avenue Paseo de Gracia 56, has a 1,900 m2 Burberry boutique and its corporate tenants include international real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield.
It was sold by Spanish property company Testa, a subsidiary of the Sacyr Vallehermoso group. Ortega is understood to have bought the asset for his property company Pontegadea, which recently bought Madrid office tower Torre Picasso for €400m from Spanish construction group FCC.
