Cheffins has recruited Claire Shannon to its development team. She joins from ID Planning, and will work on residential, commercial and rural projects in the Cambridge region.

Manchester based Gray Scanlan Hill has appointed Jerome Muir to its neighbourly matters team. He will support the team in providing strategic consultancy advice on rights of light and party walls and access to land.

Lovell has promoted Tahreen Shad to the new position of regional partnerships director for the North West and North Wales. In her new role she will lead on the delivery of new homes through partnerships with local authorities and public and private sector organisations.

Tim Stidwill has joined international multi-disciplinary engineer Cundall as a structural engineering partner. Based in the Birmingham office, his focus will be to enhance the firm’s structural engineering brand in the Midlands.

Laurent Ternisien, former managing director of MSCI Real Estate, has been appointed as the new chief executive of BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management in Luxembourg.

Mike Jones has joined Bidwells as planning team leader in the Milton Keynes office. He is experienced in the strategic promotion of development sites and planning applications.

Lambert Smith Hampton has promoted James Banks and Simon Redgers to directors in the Bristol office.

Dunlop Heywood has appointed Mick Rowbottom to head up its energy and renewables division. A valuation office agency expert, he has 27 years’ experience on projects in Africa and Europe.

Clare Watson, director at Bernard Watson, has been named chair of the National Federation of Builders.

Longevity Partners has appointed Anthony Maguire as an energy consultant from Jones Lang LaSalle. He will focus on energy and sustainability management services in Europe. Krista Lankela has been promoted to sustainability consultant. She will deal with strategic advisory services and expanding the firm’s presence in the Nordics.

Emma Kerrywood has joined Dacre, Son & Hartley from Morgans. As head of the lettings division, she will be responsible for overseeing lettings across all of their offices.

Lambert Smith Hampton has promoted Ben Strange and James Laderman to directors in the London building consultancy team.

Petar Orlic has joined law firm Reed Smith as a partner in its London real estate group. He joins from US firm Faegre Baker Daniels, where he was a partner and head of real estate.

Stevenage Borough Council has appointed Patrick Lewis as assistant director for regeneration. He was previously director of regeneration for the Welsh government.

Bruton Knowles has recruited Mark Cunningham as senior surveyor in the Cardiff office. He will work on compensation and valuation matters across South and West Wales.

London property agency GN2 has appointed Hugo Knight as a senior surveyor from Cluttons.

Steven Siebert has joined TH Real Estate from JLL. He joins the logistics team as senior asset manager in Frankfurt.

Robertson Property has appointed former Scottish rugby professional Ross McNulty as development director in its commercial property business. He joins from Valad Europe.

The Bristol office of GVA has recruited Byron Hammond as senior surveyor in its industrial agency team. He joins from Stratton Creber Commercial.

Acorn Property Group has appointed Richard Roach as design and build manager in its direct build subsidiary, AH Construction Solutions. He previously worked for Interserve.

Carterwood has appointed Grace Wheelwright, Andrew Whyte and Sam Sefton as research analysts.

Turner & Townsend has appointed James Dand as global chief operating officer. He will be responsible for delivering ongoing growth strategies across its infrastructure, real estate and natural resources segments.

Clare Berthoud has joined Mayfair Capital Investment Management as a director of business development. She previously worked at Schroder Investment Management.

LK2 Architects has appointed Thomas Atkinson as an architect. He has previously acted on shopping and leisure facilities in Europe. Thomas Redfearn joins as a senior architectural technologist and has formerly worked on projects in the sports and leisure sectors.
