LCC Properties and Investments has filed plans with Derry City & Strabane District Council to develop a 307-bed purpose-built student accommodation scheme.
The proposals include two six-storey buildings with 224 cluster rooms, 48 smaller rooms classed as “affordable clusters” and 35 larger studios, 152 cycle spaces and a range of amenities including resident lounge, workspace and gym.
The 0.74-acre site – located at 128-137 Strand Road – is close to the University of Ulster’s Magee Campus.
