Coffee shop and sandwich chain Pret A Manger has handed over operational control of its US stores to franchise partner Dallas Holdings.
Dallas will be given exclusive rights to open new Prets in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington. Pret already has 50 stores in those locations.
Dallas plans to open more than 10 new stores on the east coast of America by 2026 and to triple Pret’s business in America over the next five years.
The franchise partner also runs eight shops for Pret in the UK. It expect to operate more than 100 Prets in the UK and US by 2026.
