PRUPIM has lodged plans for the first privately-financed new railway station in the South of England for 50 years at its giant
The government gave the green light for the PRP Architects-designed station last summer.
Detailed plans have now been lodged with Reading council with trains scheduled to begin stopping at Reading GreenPark Station by the end of 2008.
The station comprises five train carriage length platforms with canopies above, a station concourse and pedestrian bridge across the tracks.
