Quantum computing start-up wants to treble size of HQ

A quantum computing business has raised £42m to treble the size of its headquarters in London and to speed up the development of its technology.

Quantum Motion’s funding was led by the venture capital division of Bosch, the technology group, along with Porsche and British Patient Capital, a subsidiary of the government-owned British Business Bank. Existing investors including Oxford Science Enterprises and Octopus Ventures also contributed, bringing the total to £62m.
