Rula Developments has submitted plans to Cheshire West and Chester Council for a logistics unit at Winsford Gateway in Cheshire.
The developer has proposed a 225,075 sq ft mixed-use unit at the industrial-led site, which is at Junction 18 of the M6.
If plans are approved it will offer 213,159 sq ft of warehouse space, plus 11,916 sq ft of offices, with provisions to expand on the 12.6-acre plot. It will target EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings and has potential to provide around 275 full-time jobs.
Pending approval, construction is expected to start in March 2024, with a fast-track delivery programme allowing occupation by September 2024.
The application follows Rula’s acquisition of 25 acres of development land at Winsford Gateway earlier this year. In May, it submitted applications to deliver two smaller industrial units of 74,508 sq ft and 27,728 sq ft on the estate.
