Savills Investment Management has appointed former M&G Real Estate boss Alex Jeffrey as its new chief executive.
Jeffrey, previously head of Asia Pacific at M&G Investments, will join Savills IM in late 2019, subject to regulatory approval. He will be based in Singapore and will become a member of the Savills group executive board.
Before he was appointed to lead M&G’s Asia Pacific business in 2017, Jeffrey was chief executive of M&G Real Estate for six years, based in London.
His previous roles also include chief investment officer and chief executive Europe at MGPA.
Kiran Patel, acting chief executive of the business and chief investment officer at Savills IM, will become deputy chief executive when Jeffrey joins later this year. Nick Cooper will continue in his role as chairman.
